The Gantry
Set within the tranquil grounds of the TreeChurch and Gardens, The Gantry offers a unique indoor venue for hire — ideal for corporate, community, and family events.
This striking space blends its original 1970s character with a modern industrial feel, thanks to a thoughtful refurbishment completed in 2021. Whether you’re hosting a workshop, celebration, or gathering, The Gantry provides a versatile setting for up to 100 guests, with bookings available until 9pm.
A 25sqm carpeted mezzanine is accessed from a lovely staircase in the venue and looks over the main hall.
The main hall is 110 sqm with polished concrete floors, original gantry, 6m high ceilings with exposed rafters, and 3m high glass doors looking over the TreeChurch and Gardens.
An exposed aggregate deck runs along the front of the main hall and provides full access to the gardens. A retractable roof provides shelter over the deck when needed. A courtyard area between the deck and the gardens provides further reception space.
Hiring the venue includes the following:
Use of the main hall, mezzanine and kitchen
Access to the gardens
Use of 30 wooden chairs or 110 black folding chairs
Use of 12 wooden trestle tables and 4 plastic trestle tables (white tablecloths available for the plastic trestle tables)
Use of 6 Oak barrels and 3 wooden benches for bar/grazing table or other use
Ample parking (with accessible parking located just outside the building)
A small commercial kitchen is attached, which includes a double gas oven and hob, turbofan oven, commercial dishwasher and double commercial refrigerators. The kitchen is available primarily for heating and serving.
